Well here we are in 2008, who would've thought we'd still be waiting and will continue to wait for another year or more. I'm feeling pretty down today as I realize that 2008 will not be our year and 2009 most likely will not be either. It frustrates me to know that the wait will continue to get longer and longer and that our dream of completing our family will continue to get further and further away. It breaks my heart when Cole talks about his baby sister because he wants her to be here so much and asks alot why we haven't gone yet. I have a really hard time understanding it so how can I explain it to a 4 year old.
Anyway enough whining out of me, it won't change anything.
So heres to 2008 making dreams come true for our friends Angela & Bryan!!Can't wait to meet your Ella!

Oh Lisa, I don't know what to say. My heart breaks for all families waiting. We're so close but so far away so I can't even imagine how you feel. All I know is that we will eventually have our Ellas home.
It will happen for us. We just need to keep telling ourselves that.

My heart goes out to you....the wait is so difficult especially for you as the wait has increased since you started this journey. Ella will make it home and will so be worth this long wait. It will happen.....it will eventually be your turn. We're here if you need to vent.

I'm going to start this off with "WAITING SUCKS!" It's very frustrating not knowing what CCAA are doing and how far they will get each month. Waiting is definitely hard but I'll echo Steph's comment that it is so worth the long wait. For something that was suppose to take us 6-9 months and it ended up being 23 months it certainly is depressing at times. Keep your chin up, enjoy the time you have with Cole as he grows and know that Ella will be make it home to you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers that things speed up so we can all have our girls finally together. I can't wait for the picture of all 6 of them playing together.
I'm here for you anytime you need to talk or vent and Madi is here anytime you need a baby snuggle.
Can't wait to see you Tuesday!
